I am London based Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who graduated in Medicine and Physiological Sciences from St Anne’s College Oxford and in Medicine from Selwyn College, Cambridge. I obtained my fellowship in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2017.

I have dual accreditation in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as higher specialist training in Urogynaecology and a higher fellowship in Uro-neurology.

My MD thesis was “Risk factors and causes of trauma to the pelvic floor during childbirth”. I have developed a specialist clinic for women with childbirth related problems such as urinary or faecal incontinence and perineal pain.

I am the author of numerous chapters and publications covering all aspects of pelvic floor investigation, surgery and pelvic floor damage related to childbirth. I have also co-written books including "The Contented Pregnancy" with Gina Ford.

In 2007 I was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in pelvic floor disorders at The Royal London Hospital. I have been Lead Urogynaecologist since 2013 for Barts Health NHS Trust and am the lead Gynaecologist at the Royal London Hospital.

I co-lead one of only two nationally accredited pelvic floor services in the UK, integrating the management of bowel, bladder and pelvic floor disorders. I also see patients for bladder pain syndrome and recurrent urinary tract infections.

I provide maternity and gynaecology services privately in London and continue to have a busy NHS obstetric practice in one of the busiest high-risk labour wards in London. I have provided expert evidence for the Courts In England and Wales on behalf of Claimants and Defendants in personal injury and clinical negligence actions.

I have obtained the Bond Solon Cardiff University Expert Witness Certificate and complete around 50 reports per year.
