I have considerable expertise and experience in the management of:
General acute trauma of the upper (eg clavicle fracture, humerus fracture, radius and ulna (forearm fractures) and hand and wrist fractures) and lower limb (eg hip (neck of femur) fractures, femur fractures, tibia fractures, ankle fractures, foot fractures).
Complex lower limb sub-specialist trauma of the lower limb (eg periprosthetic fractures of the hip and femur, periprosthetic fractures of the knee, complex fractures of the distal femur, tibial plateau fractures and distal tibial 'pilon' fractures).
The use of Ilizarov and Taylor Spatial Frames (TSF) for the treatment of complex injuries to the tibia.
The management of the complications of trauma including non-union of fractures, malunion of fractures and infection complications of fractures.
The management of prosthetic joint infections (PJI) of hip and knee replacements.
The management of osteomyelitis and septic arthritis.
The management of soft-tissue injuries to the knee (e.g. meniscal tears, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), articular cartilage injuries and patella dislocations).
Complications arising following hip and revision hip replacement.
Complications arising following knee and revision knee replacement.
Soft tissue injuries of the lower limb (eg hamstring muscle strain or avulsion, quadriceps muscle injury, Achilles tendon rupture).
Orthopaedic contact sport-related injuries (eg ankle sprains).
